SALUTE Report

- Important for reporting of any intelligence information to Headquarters/other Units. SALUTE format should ensure all information is accurate and complete.

S=SIZE of enemy force. Actual numbers if possible.
A=AREA / ACTIVITIES of the enemy (Direction / Transp.method).
L=LOCATION. 6 digit coordinates.
U=UNIT IDENTIFICATION. (Markings, symbols, uniforms, vehicles, agency markings).
T=TIME and DATE of sighting. Military 24hr time.
E=EQUIPMENT carried by the enemy. ( Weapons, gear etc.)
